GVE2 Interface Converter

The GVE2 is an ASIC-based high rate synchronous short range modem operating at several selectable data rates, from 16 kbps up to 2048 Kbps with a range up to 2.3 km. It has line interface G.703.

Transmission clock can be recovered from receiving signals G.703 line. The clock also can be from internal or external data terminal.

The GVE2 features V.54 diagnostic capabilities to perform local analog loop back and remote digital loop back to provide port-to-port integrity testing.

Feature:

Convenient diagnosis function, test of analog loopback of local terminal and G.703 digital circular of remote terminal There are many director LEDs on the front panel to display work status and alarm signals of the equipment. 

G.703 lines interface: impedance 120ohm (RJ45) and 75ohm(BNC) optional .

The modem's line interface coding is HDB3.

A choice of V.35/V.24 is available to perform transparent data transmission.

It supports external clock and can carry out end-linking line.

Conforms to the requirements of G.703, G.704,,G.706, G.823 and I.431 of ITU.

Two kinds of machine model : standalone and rack mountable.
